چکیده

Two-dimensional (2D) cell culture systems are normally used for in vitro experiments. These have some drawbacks which affect results of experiments because cultured cells different morphology and physiological properties comparing to vivo models. Therefore, there current technique develop three-dimensional (3D) closer the environment real tissues. In our study, we polycaprolactone fiber scaffold bovine monocytes dendritic (DCs) from those cells. Cultured nanofiber differentiated DCs. The DCs showed a 3D structure scaffold. suggest that this method is suitable development manner three-dimension. perspective has advantages compare conventional 2D systems.

Chip-based three-dimensional cell culture in perfused micro-bioreactors.

We have developed a chip-based cell culture system for the three-dimensional cultivation of cells. The chip is typically manufactured from non-biodegradable polymers, e.g., polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate by micro injection molding, micro hot embossing or micro thermo-forming. But, it can also be manufactured from bio-degradable polymers. Its overall dimensions are 0.7 1 x 20 x 20 x 0....

conclusions our underlying hypothesis is that recapitulating the three-dimensional early embryonic structure, in order to reproduce better in vitro the three-dimensional morphogenetic-like re-arrangements, would improve cells differentiation, when in vivo transplanted; moreover, it could be used as a simplified cancer disease model and reliable drug evaluation method as well. results the proces...

Lactoferrin from bovine milk inhibits bovine herpesvirus 1 in cell culture but suppresses development of in vitro-produced bovine embryos.

Bovine herpesvirus 1 (BoHV-1) is widely distributed among cattle populations and has been associated with cells, fluids, and tissues collected from donor animals for use in reproductive technologies. The purpose of this study was to determine if lactoferrin would inhibit BoHV-1 in cell culture and to evaluate if embryos could develop normally when cultured in vitro with lactoferrin. In Experime...

Three-dimensional tissue culture based on magnetic cell levitation.

Cell culture is an essential tool in drug discovery, tissue engineering and stem cell research. Conventional tissue culture produces two-dimensional cell growth with gene expression, signalling and morphology that can be different from those found in vivo, and this compromises its clinical relevance. Here, we report a three-dimensional tissue culture based on magnetic levitation of cells in the...

Paper-Supported Three-Dimensional Cell Culture for Tissue-Based Bioassays

Methods. Cells and reagents We purchased MDA-MB-231 cells from ATCC and primary IMR90, HDF and primary HUVEC cells from Lonza. MDA-MB-231, IMR-90, HDF and LLC cells were cultured in Eagle’s minimal Essential medium (MEM) from Lonza supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1% GlutaMax (both from Invitrogen). Primary HUVEC cells were cultured in endothelial growth medium (EGM-2, Lonza)....
